CORELDRAW graphic design slopware - Anyone ?

Anyone use the latest CD software with success?

I've been using various iterations of this package since early-90s and it's been great.
Recent Windows upgrades have forced me to purchase the latest 2019 version which appears to be a total crock of shit.
How can a company get things so wrong?

Bloody software won't even start up on my latest W10 OS.

Corel's Canadian team seem to be sleeping walking their company to oblivion.

Anyone had any positive experiences?

Please follow the steps to resolve the issue:
1. Please uninstall the Corel draw graphics suite 2019.
2. Please clear the temporary files and prefetch

3. Please restart the computer And create a new windows user profile on windows

4. Please download and install the Corel draw graphics suite.

5. While installing the Corel draw graphics suite 2019. Please run Corel draw graphics suite 2019 as "administrator" by right-clicking on the installation file.
6. Please check whether you are getting any pop-up messages to install/update Microsoft .Net framework 4.6. If so please install/update the same
7. Select the option "I have serial Key (Activation Key)" and Enter the Serial Key during installation
8. once it's successfully installed while trying to open Corel Draw Graphics Suite 2019, it will prompt you to login
9. If you already have the account, select that option and enter your credentials (Username and password)
10. If you are a new customer, please create a Corel account by entering your email address, password and confirming password.

I got as far as uninstalling the slopware, and deleting the temp files - then Corel wouldn't let me re-download the program I'd paid £100 ++ for

Even using the F8 button during startup didn't give me what they suggested/proposed....

Corel's 2019 design and drawing package is now running. WTF

What a farcical way to administer a new program. My new user account, JoeBiff2 can use his design package, but all his files are still residing on his "old" account.

Thanks, smogBob, for the suggestion. I'd seen that explanation but dismissed it as not being applicable with an out-of-the-box experience, as they say. Ho fcukin Ho... I'm kinda pleased I only paid £100 notes, instead of the £600 for the daddy-version.

Hmm portable coraldraw may be an answer if such a version exists

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I had this problem recently. I'll try to solve it with your advice and hope it works out for me. Because I now have a big order that I can't miss because it pays a lot of money. I have been looking for a solution to this problem for quite a while and even managed to work on the colors for the project at https://crello.com/colors/color-names/gold/. I was beginning to think about just downloading another app and starting to work there, but I think it'd have taken me a lot longer to learn a new app than to find a solution to the problem. Anyway, what other graphic design app could you advise me on?
