Gadget review - Karcher portable cleaner

I don’t have access to a tap or power where my bikes are stored and need to be able to wash the crap off my bike, more rinsing off then jet washing.

Looks like this..(photos from Karcher site)

Mine was £80 from Amazon but they are currently £99 at Halfords. I bought an optional tray that clips underneath to store a brush and a hose so that the inbuilt reservoir can be bypassed and an external reservoir ( large bucket, etc).

The device is quite small. Photos of them being used to clean push bikes are good indicators of size.

It’s charged up before use ( 3hr), simple to fill with water, switch on and good to go. Pressure is Lakers to be approx 5bar but is good enough for rinsing off soap and dirty after wiping down.

I bought the add on brush and it was good at cleaning the wheels and loosening dirt.

Used it for 15 min and no loss in power of pressure.

They do other accessories such as a 12v charger for the car ( didn’t buy one).

Nice little gadget, handy for blowing off the dirty water after soap and sponge.
