I have a 2015 F700GS factory lowered bike. On my old F650GS I bought a fat foot from Annette at rugged roads and it was great.
On looking to buy a fat foot from RR is shows one for the F700 but with a caveat that it will not fit a factory lowered model.

Anyone installed a side stand extender on a lowered bike?

Just my opinion...

The 650 / 700 GS low chassis already has a much bigger 'foot' than the stock bikes.
And I've never fealt the need for a larger foot, the standard sidestands foot.

Here's the difference -
low sidestand on left
Normal sidestand on right
Just changed the standard shock & sidestand for a low kit on my 650GS SE I've just sold & was reminded of the size difference..

Cheers Ash, great comparison as allways. The reason I want to fit a fat foot is also height. My 700 low chassis really leans over with its side stand down as if the ss was too short. I know its not been modified as its an ex bmw staff bike.

I have fitted a mainstand for general use, but I thought I could use the foot AND put a small packer in to raise the height. A bit like lads have done on here with 1150’s using nylon pucks.

Does that make sense?

Your specialist tape measure says "10 feet" on it but you've only measured two!
