One fing that I noticed wasn't as good as previous F series twins, was the new dial background colour.

Terrible in sunlight. (especially indicator arrow)

My mate had bought a sun shield for his F800 GT.
So at great expense :D
I ordered one, fitted today.
Much better...

And I can see it assisting riding at night in stopping some of the headlight blead that comes back at you.

I have the Touratech headlight brow on mine which works great..

Yes, just pushes on & the little "barbs" hold it on.

I did add the a bit of double sided tape too mine, just in case...;)

Don't want the very expensive part flying off at gas mark 9... :D

And I did file away some of the plastic were it goes around the LCD screen just to make it a tad bigger.
But that's only because the later models have a little heated handlebar picture that comes on when you push the switch on.
One or two dots come on according to what setting you are on & I couldn't see well it until did the filing, but maybe that's just mine.. :)
