Oil Question...Sigh

Apologies.... Not another oil question I hear you all cry. In the manual it states that the readings mean

OK: Oil level is correct. CHECK: Check the oil level the next time you stop for fuel. ---: Oil level cannot be measured (conditions as stated above not satisfied).

I have NEVER seen and ok and it always - - -

Why? Is the question. When cold my sight glass is completely full... I always check the glass at the same time, normally after ten minutes of running or so and then with bike level. Oil Level is ok as seen below. But why on the display I don’t get an OK ?? Doing something wrong? Bike needs to be running,off, what? I’m in the thinking that when warm and it’s as in pic below then all good?

Bike needs to up to temperature, ticking over in neutral and it will indicate, oil ok, if your level is ok.
When you put it in gear and move off it automatically changes to clock.
In your picture above the engine is not hot enough.
