Screen Fittings

I have noticed that the screen on my 2007 gs is a bit rattly. It’s been like it since I got the bike a couple of years ago.
I thought it was a normal feature and part of the character we all know and love and let’s face it there quite a lot of rattles, vibes and clunks with a GS!!

Having checked more carefully I am missing one of the ‘top hat’ spacers (it’s the outer larger non threaded one)which means there is always some play even when the adjustment is tight.

Does anyone have a spare knocking about?

My screen on my 04 was buzzy and rattled loads. Got a new set of hardware from ebay (china) £17 quid delivered, work a treat and the thumb adjuster is much better design than the oem one actually. all tight again. Also added some rubber washes made from a mtb inner tube. I use them all over actually work great
