Well, had I known that music event was going to be a bit of an “old hat” I would’ve been in France yesterday.
Disappointed with my Radio 2 live in Hyde Park experience today. I am not a Status Quo fan, but they were the best out the lot.
The headline act (Pet Shop Boys) was a bit of a zombie resurrection. What a waste of money that was.
Looking forward to a 7:45am departure fists thing in the morning.

Nothing like s bit of drama first thing on Monday morning.
M25 got shut for 25 minutes this morning at J16. A fellow biker mate got knocked of a young driver in a Fiesta in a fast lane. A bellowed VFR is destined for a salvage yard and a biker make seemed unharmed.
Consequently I’ve made it to the tunnel “late” and been put on a next train. Buggery I thought. I can’t be arriving at my hotel tonight late. Anyhow, as I rolled into carpark, billboard was showing “last call” for the train I’ve meant to be on. So without further contemplating I took my chances and rode straight to the passport control. I was the last bike to get on with two bikes in front of me waiting their turn.

Got chatting to the one of the blokes, they are doing a day trip to Belgium (tobacco run). It is a one way to pay for your trip, being a non smoker.
Anyway, all is good for now.

I thought that looked familiar, we must have ridden through that as we rode from Le Reposoir down to Grand-Bornand...
You certainly got the best week for the weather Martin, first part of last week wasn't great for us but from Wed onwards it started to get better..
