Euro 3 Akrapovic

Just got a question for you guys with 1250 GS/GSA’s. Does the bike need a new fuel map with a Euro 3 or 4 bmw akro silencer? As a guy I spoke to today said the dealer does it. I thought that it was only necessary with a full system.

My buddy is running a Euro 4 on his 1250 with no issues at all.

I’got the Euro 3 installed and no issues whatsoever

went with this so I can take the dB killers out when I want it to sound a bit more like the old days!!

Me too. Although touring with baffles out got through to me a little. Back in now.

Thanks for that, i think he was getting confused with the case if you change the headers too. I’ve got a new euro 3, that i managed to pick from a dealer for £663.
