It was all good. No Staff were dressed in comical pink wigs with no custard pies on offer and fairly decent cakes to boot.

I booked another Hostel for the night in a small little place called Uvdal.

many thanks for taking the time to post . Looks fabulous , a great trip and a beautiful RK . Are they quite roomy ? I had a 1997 RK and it was a beauty . haven't tried one for a while , but at 6 foot 5 or so , I wonder if its worth a revisit ? Haven't seen one at my local dealer . I guess they haven't changed that much , love the simplicity , and looks like a proper bike . Again thank you

As I entered the Telemark region I went over another mountain pass which was wild and windy but utterly beautiful!

The cross wind was so strong the "fashion visor" on my Bell Classic began to wobble like a jelly fish and at one point I expected it to fly into the tundra.

Finally reaching lower levels I managed to tighten the fixings using my trusty penknife. Note to self... wear a proper helmet next time!
