I've just joined the forum as it's already been a huge source of info.
Long story short, I just completed a 2,500 mile trip to France and back in 9 days on my Triumph Street Triple RS. I was wild camping most nights so ended up with a lot of dirt / woodland as well as some long slogs on the motorway. Returning with a sore butt, numb shoulders and a tortured bike I stopped into the local BMW dealer and test road an R 1250 GS Adventure.
That's it, I'm sold. Looking at part ex options next week and hopefully will be getting the new bike in the next couple of months - perfect timing for the winter commutes and rides.
