Anyone hear of any Road Kings up for grabs can you let me know....

Cheers

I am not sure, gotta be 2002 onwards really, with not too heavy a mileage but it all depends on year, would prefer carb versions, but am fairly new to this type of bike, rode my mates 95 the other day with the wife and she loved it so I have been informed to have a look around for one....

Cheers Paul, Do you know if they are they good and trustworthy guys as they have a few for sale and may take a trip over to see them...

Is that it.. no pictures...??

Awww, seeing as it's you, here's a picture :)

Shite pics I know but space is now at a premium in the garage...Always wanted a Harley never thought I would have one but the wife has come up trumps again...2003 Anniversary edition, read about the front brake etc before collecting but never thought it could be that bad, didn't take long to get used to using mainly back brake and adjusting riding style...love it..first job is to inspect the chain tensioners and then put some braided hoses on the front

If they are the original hoses they are well past their sell by date.. I have Goodrich hoses on my Glide -

You will use the rear more to settle the bike - they can be ridden quickly but you have to adjust...

I thought the 2003 Aniversary models had a black/silver tank as standard, it may have had a paint job.
No worries though, the black finish looks good despite the crap photos.:D
Enjoy the bike.:beerjug:

Quite possibly a US Import - i think the UK ones were Silver Over Black but the US had Black with a silver stripe - like this one -

If the Front Mudguard has an Amber Light to complement the yellow reflective markers on the side of the fender then its an import.

Even better that it was registered in November 2002, So could have been an early one but it is an official one and although I have only had it a afew days just love it. I was not 100% certain I wanted another old bike but wanted one with carb, so this one came up with 20000 on the clock, never seen rain and could not resist...It does need new brake hoses and I am going to inspect the cam tensioners and may even upgrade them but I can live with that.....A little loud but did we not used to say loud pipes save lives........

Check your rear wheel as well... often neglected cos they are hard to clean/see.....

Jeeeez I used to be anal about mine . An Abba stand to keep all the underneath clean . It looked like new when I traded it for a Road Gide in 2000 . Looks like I was a head of the curve then as they were very unpopular then . Still looking at getting another HD but looks like I have to keep the 1250 for 3 yrs on PCP or loose a lot of money

You change bikes more often then Tricky....
