Recommend me a sump guard?

Afternoon

I’m looking for a stronger sump guard before heading to the Sahara on my MY14 1200GS.

It needs to fit with OEM engine bars and the avant front fender extender.

All suggestions gratefully received TIA

I know you have said to fit with the OEM bars but doing so the strength is probably limited by the mounting points. Have a look at Altrider. You’ll have to change the bars but they will do what you require. BTW I don’t have them as I’m not likely to do what you are doing, it’s just a suggested option in light of no others.

Thank you for your reply, I also put this on facebook and asked BMW UK GS riders and have had several options so I think I'm sorted.

I'm just back from Magadan which was amazing and brutal

Touratech Expedition XL - pricey but the Hornig one has "Givi" written on it which I don't like and the Wunderlich one didn't look as strong

We had a F700GS hole its sump on the Road of Bones with flying rocks so it was time to beef up the bash plate
