Trying to resist but my pathetic attempt at even a proper token rational resistance is proving increasingly futile. :cool:

Anyone else had one or the 1200 version in here per chance?

Opinions gratefully received. :)

Yeah I have a 1260 PP , got it at a year old with a termi system , I've also had a 1200S DVT
Took it to Austria this year , It's a really nice bike.
I find it a step up from the DVT in almost every way , particularly the Ohlins ( After a trip to Barnsley).
It sounds superb through the QS with a system on it.
I've been running it with most of the anti-wheelie and TC turned off , and its the perfect bike for making you smile.
Looks like its going to be replaced by the V4 streetfighter so the residuals shouldn't be as bad either , though I wasn't bothered about that so much. I just wanted one and after 5000 miles and 4 months of ownership I have no regrets and its nice having something special ( in my head at least)

Down side I would say so far
Standard seat is wank for long days , it pushes your pelvis forward so you crush your balls a bit ( I use an airhawk , which transforms it)
QS under load between 5th & 6th isn't very good ( They have no fix) .
some of the bolts , banjo fittings aren't the best.

Went for the Multi Enduro instead.

Fits me better. :thumb2

That's a lovely bike, Tricky. I've got the same one but in red. Makes me laugh uncontrollably every time I go out on it. Not as smooth and silky or as civilised as the GS, or even as fully accomplished as the GS, but it certainly rejuvenates any missing mojo. :)

After a succession of GSs it is certainly more fun... and different.

@Nutty

The colour is sand (like the desert) :p
