R1200RT LC issues

Pull the rear drive shaft boot off and make sure the shaft isn't siezed to the final drive.
Make sure the exhaust flap is working. The bike will be fine if its seized, but its part of the headers, so a replacement is £1200, which are new headers. Do a search for exhaust flap, loads of posts on here.
You'll get a lot of help and good advice on here but if your not sure/confident of what to look for I'd spend a few bob more and buy from a dealer with a 2 year warranty.
Good deals to be had at this time of year especially if you don't have a pex

Look for one that has been "Hill topped" for a smoother running machine 
Paint defects, ESA, intermittent electrical problems but you can’t see those, oh have I mentioned paint defects and ESA
