That's a really nice cross section of Guzzis :thumb2

You really do need a 850 round barrel in there as well though.............. ;)

The best I was ever able to manage were these two beauties; the Lemon was fine whilst I owned her and she ticked a box but I have no regrets over moving her on, the 110 Griso though is another thing altogether and I really regret getting shot.........I can see another one in my garage one day.

Edit: Before anybody says, YES I KNOW the cables on the Lemon are routed weirdly! :D

Totally agree about the 850, I would have loved Oldrats Le Mans 11, sadly it came up at the wrong time for me. Hopefully in the not to distant I'll be on the lookout for one. I part ex'd my 1100 Griso in a private deal for the 1200se in the pics. I thought I'd made a big mistake as the 1200 handled bloody awfully, skipped and jumped all over the place, really dove into corners and was generally a bit of a pig to ride. Put all the suspension back to factory settings but to no avail. I sent for a pair of PR5's fitted them a couple of days ago and went out yesterday to scrub them in and see if there was any improvement.
I have never known a change of tyres to transform a bike so drastically , it's a totally different bike and an absolute peach to ride.

Yeah, I had similar issues with my 1100. Not cured by a change of tyres though, just lots (and I mean lots) of mucking around with the suspension settings. I can't remember the details now but the final settings that worked were quite counter intuitive. They defo seem super sensitive, especially given your comment re changing tyres, but once sorted they handle really rather well :thumb2

How do you like your California?
I bought it with the intention of making it a winter project and addressing some of it's cosmetic failings over the winter months, then moving it on in the spring. But having now ridden it for a couple of hundred miles I really rather like it. The gearchange and braking take a bit of getting used to with your feet being on the footboards, but it's a lovely relaxing ride, proper old school. As I've said I intend to ride it a bit more before deciding how far to go with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it stays with me.

Probably should of kept the convert..
But too thirsty, had I of had when I was working that would of been different.
And my 2nd SP3 was too cumbersome unless touring..
But glad I put the convert back to good health & the SP3 took me back to the Guzzi factory, like my first one did..

Keep them all and extend the garage :thumb

What is it about Guzzis? I’m a sucker for them, especially the Tontis.

Lovely bikes BTW Wrinkley. Thank you for your comments.

Nice garage. I mean workshop. I mean garage. :p :D

Have you still got the GS?

The Griso really is beautiful,

It's the only bike my Mr's has stated that she likes. (not sure about my gs though lol)

It really is a lovely bike. The only thing about it I don't like are the valve covers. I have considered having the powder coated in red.

My Convert used to do mid 40s on a run. Was yours much worse?
