Good article. I still think there's that slight hesitation re-engaging drive on the throttle by wire version. Pull up on a steep slope and there's a slight lag before you get the bite point, plus you have to be careful not to give it too much throttle and take off when you don't want to. Your left hand brake is a great solution to hold the bike and get the drive re-engaged without rolling backwards.

Yes indeed. It's kind of intuitive, but you use the rear hand brake to control movement.... like a clutch.

It's very handy for when you need your right leg off the pegs for stability.
