I’m just back from a 2 week tour around Morocco. Couldn’t get insurance cover from anyone in UK. A company in Holland would provide cover, but it was very expensive, so bought cover on the border as entered Morocco. How good and what that insurance covered is pretty debatable !! Think it more a case that any local could claim off me for any eventuality....

I tried but no joy.
I got the standard stuff at Tangier Med booth.
About 70 quid for 10 days I believe.
It’s in my RR.
I called quite a few UK companies but no luck anywhere, got bored and bit bullet. As NRG says, God knows what level of cover you’d have in reality.

Thanks so far, I remember a company issuing a UK green card maybe 2/3 years ago but can’t recall their name 
As you’ve said it’s available there and mandatory/fairly cheap but I suspect 3rd party only and theft is my biggest concern.
I know there’s some secure overnight parking around and I’ll take the anchor chain from the titanic but wondered if anyone had had any luck

Forgive me if you’ve been before, most hotels will offer some kind of security.
Some have secure parking, others may well offer their security bods to keep an eye out for your bike.
I think I paid about 2 quid a night in Zagora and Chef.
I’ve never had any issues, including off road bike with soft bags left on overbite.
