Last year I fitted Henk's vlotter converter to my 2007 GSA.
It worked fine. Not super accurate, but I don't car much as long as it reads full/mid/empty. I always use the trip meter out of habit.

Today I picked up the bike after a couple of weeks, started it and after an unsuccessful attempt, battery went flat with the relais clicking.
Had to go to work, so I jump started it off the other bike and went my way.

After a while I realised the fuel indicator was no longer working (no bars, yellow warning, no range).
I assumed the vlotter maybe had to "restart" properly. But even on the way home, after parking the bike for a couple of hours at the office, no reading.

I know there are a few other users with this converter here.

Does it need re-calibrating?
Shall I fill the tank and let it sit a while?

I think there were about 10/15 liters of petrol in the tank today.

thanks for any help ;)

Updating this as disconnecting and reconnecting the vlotter itself for 5 mins from the fuel pump connector has fixed it. It now works again.
Weirdly, I had the GS without the battery for a week before putting a new one in, but it didn't reset in that case.

Seems the vlotter doesn't like the jolts when the battery is towards end of life and the bike fails to start.
