R9t 6000 mile valve clearance check - advice please

Looking for some advice please.....

Just clocked 6000 miles and the service indicator came on. A call to dealer confirmed that my service is not required as it was serviced when I bought it used with 3600 miles in July this year but the valve clearances need to be checked.

Is this right?

Also, any recommendations for an independent specialist in the Berkshire / Surrey / Middlesex boarder area?

Waiting for a price from the AD - expecting a shock!!

The valve clearance needs to be checked at this mileage to comply with warranty requirements . On my current bike I had the 6k service early because I was going away on a big trip. The valves weren’t checked at that time. When I came back it had hit 6k so I booked it in for a valve check. It wasn’t expensive and, like many others have found, adjustment wasn’t needed.
