Some of the keys on my 2012 MacBook Pro have stopped working, it's a near vertical line of keys that are affected - 2, W, S, X.

Strange that its happened like this, especially in a vertical row. They were working fine, then just s topped.

Any suggestions on how to repair, or will I need to take it to the Apple Store £££££££ ?

(By the way, it's taken my about 15 mins to type this post on my keyboard by having to search for those letters on the internet and copy/paste them into this post  )

Have you tried it with a USB or Bluetooth external keyboard to see if the keys are really the issue?

Just post it to him Bear signed delivery :p

Try using a phone or iPad for porn instead. MacBook keys don't like spunk.

Thanks Tufty, I'm taking it in to Jon for a new keyboard. Asked him to source me a battery as well as they are getting hard to find for my 15" 2012 MacBook Pro :thumb

Glad it's worked out for you. He's a top bloke.

He's sorted my stuff successfully quite a few times.

Another mention for them. Had a logic board replaced in a MacBook Air together with a new microphone. Reasonably priced and work was guaranteed.
