R1250 aftermarket headers

Headers update
I have now got akrapovic titanium headers and a euro 3 akrapovic can fitted to my 1250 gs exclusive
Nice sound not to loud does pop a little off throttle
No engine warn light showing
No remapping done
Happy out

That's good to hear, I'm wondering if I can just remove the cat within the stock exhaust without any issues then.

My decat titanium headers don’t affect any warning lights

Removing the stock cat is the same as fitting an aftermarket system and you will retain the exhaust valve the same as the Akrapovic.

Yeah that was exactly my thought and why I was asking the question.

If the ECU isn't throwing a wobbly and the exhaust valve is retained then it shouldn't really be an issue overall in just removing the cat if it can be done neatly I guess.
