I looked at them before, £129 seems good. How's the sizing?
I’m a Shoei L and the Bell L fits perfectly so if you fit a Shoei size, the corresponding Bell should be spot on.

Finally home so got to unpack and fit my Renazco seat.
It’s much heavier and more substantial than the OE seat.
It’s a bit deeper/taller but very similar to sit on with regard to feet touching floor etc, which is good as I didn’t want it taller.

After :
Feels just like the Renazco seat on my 950SE so hopefully all day comfortable.
Shame I cant try it but just back from the most virus-riddled country in Europe so under self-isolation for 14 days.
Arsey... what seat height do you have on it now if I may ask ?
Tx
How does it compare to your africa twin and 790R on road? Is the engine smooth enough/powerful in comparison, and what about on the motorway?Ran both tanks dry on the 701LR. Got 290 miles and fuel light cane on after 250 !!
But the 701 is in every way better than the KTM version of the same thing
Why's that then?
It’s not ginger

The side parts that hold the panniers off the body initially look low but then when the panniers are on they’re pretty much on the mark so that’s good. Just take your time, trial fit everything and you’ll be fine, you can fly an aeroplane so putting a few bits on a bike should be easy
I decided to see if my old Kriega US5 would fit on the heat shield of my 501 without any drilling and was pleasantly surprised to find that it did so I’ve now got something to carry a toolkit, tyre levers, a few cable ties and some tape so I’m well happy with my days messing. The toolbox on the bash plate takes a hefty disc lock but sod all else
Fucking cat got Covid apparently.
Anyway, I’m finally home and got a big box of Nomad stuff to fit :
its nothing more than a subjective view. I dislike the looks of the ktm and I really like the look of this one, for a start I prefer the extra tank at the front where a tank should go.
....... and how can you ever trust reckless panniers?
