Mame is evolving daily lol ,,

It used to be old arcade games only, now they run a whole specturm of emulation of just about every console and platform you can think of.

Mame can be a bit tricky with Roms for one version not running on a later build.

Just go to one of the MAME forums and ask away, there will be loads of more upto date help ..

Where you source your material from is up tp you ;)

I’ve already got the computer and roms but needs setting up to work, computers aren’t my thing apart from browsing haha

Your best bet is a front end ..

Mamedev.org may be your best friend :)

Yes that’s what I need but don’t know what I’m doing tbh, is it easy to do
Will have a look cheers

Was bored, so i reinstalled it ;)

The MAME zip uninstalls into the directory you specify, the tricky bit is getting romsets to the right subdirectory ( i ran out of time last night )

I need to go a hunting, because there are some good all in one front ends for the RasPII which cover MAME, Amiga, PSX, CPC, C64, ZX Gameboy DS etc,

If there available for windows its so much easier
