I passed him on the M62 travelling east en route to Birch Services (Ride of Respect starting point).
When I passed him I assumed he was riding to the Hull ferry given the luggage onboard.
Later saw it parked up ready for the ride.
There was a note attached to the top of his tank. Could someone oblige and turn it the right way up please.

Even more impressive.:D

"I left England in 1999, I told my wife I was going away for four months". (Returned home fourteen years later)

I've known Ian for 20 plus years. He's one of lifes characters. His Mrs used to fly out to various places on the planet to spend a bit of time with him, she'd fly out, he carry on. Very interesting stories to tell. He's what you really would call a people person.

The stuff of movies. I'd love to have a beer with him even though you'd only scratch the suface in one session.
He'd fit right in at Dent.:beerjug:

Perfect Marriage? :blagblah:blast

Hang on a minute......

I left home on my Africa Twin in 1991 ..... and got home in 2013.

14 Years on the road..... what happened to the other 8 years?

>>>>>>>

Let's say he actually left home in 1999 ..... that's a hell of a New Years Resolution to welcome in the new Century.
