I've been looking online for a cheeky replacement exhaust for next year. Something maybe lighter, and a bit better sound.

Anyways, persistance may have paid off, because I spotted a GPR FURORE NERO - brand new for £186 delivered.

Seemed ok to me as they are around £300 new.

So this will be fitted fairly soon. :beerjug:

Well, well, well, got to love the Italians haven't you.

GPR Exhaust arrived today by 09:00, in a neat little box, lovely polystyrene packing, neat little GPR logo protection sock with the exhaust inside it.

The bag of bolts fixing kit was in a nice GPR logo helmet bag, all nice and neat.

With little labels of authenticity, all hand crafted, serial numbers, CE certificates etc...

So for presentation, I thought that was a very nice touch.

I feel like writing them a letter of apology for fitting this lovely exhaust unit to my piece of shit bike :blast:aidan

Took about 15 minutes to fit, so was really really easy.

I took off my battered Honda end can and weighed it.

4.8kg :blast:eek: Really heavy :nenau

2.0kg the new exhaust weighs, so a good saving of nearly 3kg and you can really feel that weight, so very happy that's gone :beerjug:

Anyways, being Italian it'll probably eat itself within 30 minutes and set fire to my house :blast

Oh... and a nice customer lazer etched bracket with Africa Twin logo on it. :D

Nice looking & sounding can, a decent cost saving & the little touches adding the icing (which should go some way to consumers promoting their products).....:thumb

It's about bloody time, been rip-off-britain for too long !!

Almost seems a shame to smash it over the rocks :D

Here you go then for those that might be interested in what it sounds like.

Your speakers may not pick up the deep base tones, but it does sound nice in real life. Subtle and nice. Not really loud. Pops and crackles nice.

I'm quite happy with that to be honest  :thumb

Nice, but the cat and plastic cover would still annoy the hell out of me. Stupid bloody japs and their size 4 feet. My right heel always fouls the bloody thing.

Doesn't sound a lot different to standard, which is already OK for me. Nice weight saving.

Exactly, and that's a good thing for me as well.

But like I say, it is deeper in real life. Very subtle but nice :D

Mine is scratched to bits.... I've stopped worrying about anything cosmetic on this bike :D

The alloy heat shield and that plastic cover weigh so little, but my boots are bloody expensive so I'd rather not melt them :D

It's turning into a very nice bike actually. Looking forward to getting out on some adventures in 2020

I did also buy some security Ram Mount Locks as well for my Double Take Mirrors.

I just had visions of them disappearing one day during an unattended park up..... £9ea off eBay keeps them reasonably secure
