ROADLOK PROBLEM

I've watched others write about issues with their Roadloks and so far I've escaped the disappointment ... until now that is

The weather finally seems to have got to my Roadlok - it unlocks and I can withdraw the plastic piece but on removing the key the little locking device which is supposed to prevent the removal of the lock, once inserted, no longer engages. It is stuck within the main body of the Roadblock rendering the whole device useless

Does anyone know of a fix? Is there anything permanent upgrade which can prevent a reoccurrence (presuming a fix can be found)

Does anyone want to but a Roadblock? At the moment I've removed it from my bike and will revert to the Oxford Magnum chain

.... don't know what to say really.

Except great idea poorly executed....

I’m no help but I gave up on my Roadlok as had similar issues .Great idea but very prone to not working.
Take it off, clean it up and flog it to Del as a spare !! :)

Yup take it off and clean it.
Apologies if you know how to remove the barrel but in case you dont:

Contact Roadlok, you should get a new lock barrel foc .

To remove the lock
barrel (lock cylinder):
1. Turn the key to the fully unlocked position.

2. Insert a small allen key into the crosshole on the lock body, and press
it into the deadbolt, which will force the deadbolt to push inside the
lock cylinder.

3. Pull on the key, and the entire lock cylinder should slide out of the lock
body.

4. Clean and replace.(or sell it)
