New Bike Tomorrow! R Nine T Urban G/S Sport

Lovely bike.....I wanted one but had no patience, so bought the Scrambler X......I have finally got the rear shock OK after 2 years of fucking around, but the seat is still too hard for my delicate posterior:D

The torque is addictive and the best I have experienced on any bike, once run in it will be a hoot.....Enjoy:thumb2

Congratulations, good choice! I love mine.
I moved from a 2014 GSA to the UGS and have been happy with the change 100%

Much like many other people, I wholeheartedly suggest a replacement rear shock. I recently changed to a +30mm Wilbers unit and it really has made a positive improvement. 95% of the time the rear shock was adequate but on certain surfaces the rear skipped around no matter how the preload was set.
I now have no issues and a more comfortable ride.

I've also found I've spent more on bits and bobs for this than any other bike I've owned, but I've enjoyed doing it rather than felt hard done by for parting with the cash.

Enjoy!

Any pics of yours ?

I think since this was taken I've added some cylinder guards and the new rear spring. No photos since then.

That is absolutely gorgeous...

What sort of rear rack is it that you've got on yours?
It's a generic off AliExpress. I'll dig out the link for you. Very well made but the paint is thin. I'll get it repainted or powder coated at some point but it's not urgent.

Congratulations on your new bike,, I bloody love the look of the Urban GS. Bought mine 2 years back and made a few changes to it, rear fender changed for a Wunderlich version, Wilbers rear shock (+30mm), Wunderlich crash bars and hand guards. Happy with it now, was considering selling it but don’t think I can as it just looks great...

Great bike!
Bought mine last year... My first new bike since 1989. Love this bike. I find it comfortable for all day riding. I did a load of upgrades over last winter... A bit sharper, a lot noisier, and even more fun to ride

My urban arrived last week!

Only done about 150 miles but love the noise on the overrun!

No better feeling than picking up a new bike. Enjoy!

Had my Scrambler for three years now and been out looking for new bike and can't find anything I like better. A strange feeling for me as I usually have a clear idea of what I want next.

Been touring in France and Salisbury Plain on one of Bakerman's Christmas events and it does everything I need. I just like the simplicity of it.

A bloody cold day on Salisbury Plain, I can't remember being so cold.

A clean bike.

I get mine in two weeks. Nik the smooth talking devil in BMW Dalkeith did the damage, I only went in for a test ride with the intention of perhaps buying a second hand R9T. I think he spiked my coffee then took advantage of me ! Still I did get a good deal and he was a pleasure to deal with, incredibly nice and decent. It will keep the other two in check.

Awesome news!

My better half bought her previous new bike from Motorrad Central - amazing service and a great team.

Mine was from John Clark BMW in Dundee, who'd been trying to sell me a bike for ages. I finally took the leap and I don't regret it! :beerjug:

Was in at JC's the other day, they have a scrambler in I was looking at, took a shot of it, enjoyed it, suspension was shit but sure I can overcome that when I finally get one.

Do you know their main technician badly broke his arm and is off for at least 3 months in case you're needing any servicing done soon.

Who sold you it btw, Ryan or Andy ?

Oh crikey, I hadn't heard that!

Ryan was the guy who sold me mine - top fella.
