That's one of the reasons I stayed away from the Akra on my 790 Adventure. Well, that and the cost.

SC Projects came up with a decent alternative at half the price of the Akra and the baffle came out with a bit of force. Cut it down and put it back in and was a good compromise between fruity and being annoying.

I got the Akra at cost. As much as anything, I like the way it looks. So much better than the original and, in my opinion, better than other aftermarket options. I paid almost as much for a second hand one for my gs. I don't want it too loud. There are already too many too loud bikes here in West Bay every time the sun shines. Harleys and Honda MSX 125s being the worst offenders.

I'm not sure exactly because the farkles are not itemised on my order form, but it was about £525
