Ive noticed there is someone on Ebay selling brand new DA Avon Tyres.
They have a defective appearance.

Probably but they're all dead.

Warning ! Bought these tyres, took them to my fitter and they are out of date! These are 2013 manufacture!
I aske Avon about the DA bit there response was:-

The British Rubber Manufacturers Association advise tyres should be used within 6 years of manufacture. The tyre should then be removed after a total of 10 years.
Avon recommend tyres should be used within 5 years of manufacture. The tyre should then be removed after a total of 7 years.

DA denotes ‘Defective Appearance’ and this is purely a cosmetic defect.

I don`t get it.....Is he going to eat these tyres? If he is not, then I don`t see that a Best Before Date matters.....Just how in the fuck did we arrive here?
It is clearly obvious that manufacturers have pulled a fucking blinder once more.

Just go off and watch the Worlds Fastest Indian.....It may bring some fucking reality to your digital fucking world.

There was no such thing as litigation int' olden days.

As a foot note, supplier fully refunded the tyres and all transport costs.
