It’s a moulded piece of plastic, with a couple of metal brackets. I’m sure mark hooten could make one in metal for that price.

I just can’t think what I would use it for.
Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice idea and requires no mounting but it’s so small.

Now maybe if it was stealth and say still looked like a seat maybe you could stash travel docs or something.
 
Yer noticed that it doesn’t fit the LC. Was just thinking owt else out there that would. Suppose I could use a Krigar bag but not very secure.

Also looks a bit odd , Kriega bag is better and no sharp corners to catch hold of you in a fall or mounting the bike .
The plastic one tho small would be better than a metal box as it’s softer in profile and smooth
