Arrived today and despite the weather I could not resist a little spin out accompanied by Roadrash

Its like being back home in your favourite slippers

Just sublime

Maybe not as brutally fast as the 1290GT was but no slouch

And the handling on those Ohlins is just peachy although i have not pushed it at all cos its so bloody slippery

Very nice..
Health and wealth to enjoy Rick

Nice.

The GT was short lived, did you not like ?

It was a great bike but i just didn't gel with it

6K miles on it and it still felt wrong to me

I described the ducati as being back in a favourite pair of slippers where the KTM was like being on ice skates all the time

Not the bike but me
Never settled on it whereas the Multi just feels so right

Congratulations Rick that’s lovely.

But calling her Penelope? :nenau Parker and think again. :D

Lovely bike Rick , start saving for your termi , transforms the bike...:D

Thanks chaps

A bit of realisation as to how lucky i am to be able to own it and how lucky we all are to have our bikes

The seat whilst a fabulous looking thing is also very very comfortable ( unlike the KTM)

The Ohlins, straight out of the box so to speak, are plush so i cant wait to get them set up properly

Riding position just suits me and that little screen which does adjust gives adequate protection although the larger Plexiglas screen from the standard 1260S is also included with the bike if touring requires it

The pain scheme is not as shouty in yer face as the shiny red which would have been my choice of colour but Pikes peak is what you get

I do think Andy's bike ( roadrash) will attract more admirers with its gorgeous red and corse graphics

I have some graphics of my own to add when the arrive from italy, a sort of Carling Dunne tribute

Apart from adding some crash bungs, rad and oil cooler guard and a tail tidy the bike will stay as is

The tank bag is also pretty good its a ducati branded Givi works well and has 4 USB electrics in it

Do they not do them in Beige Rick?

Now she's burst her 'winter cherry' we need to get out up into the peaks, get good and mucky and see how much of a proper dirty bird she really is :bounce1
