Did they send you the renewal in plenty of time? Mine is due 10th and I have had no sight of it; although I've already started on comparison sites. I PM'd Dean on here to find out when it is coming ......

Yup got it yesterday. Dont worry your set to auto renew they said. Fuck them i specifically told them i never auto renew when i took policy out last year. So im on the blower quick like yesterday and told them (Bennetts)to stick their insurance when it expires. Got other quotes and took out new policy starting next month for £145 comp with protected NCB and a £350 excess. All the others wanted £600 excess. Policy is through Express Insurance and is with AXA. Incidentally Bennetts wanted £488

    Thanks Del,

I will wait to hear back then. I too opt out of Auto renew and just diarise my renewal date to ensure I check it. Prices seem to have dropped for me this year ......

Unfortunately Bemoto couldn’t offer me a competitive quote this year. Im happy with the price ive paid considering some peeps can’t even get a quote if they are in the SE. There are compensations too living oop north

That’s about what they will pay out, if they do at all, after about a year.

They are a broker the same as Bemoto and Bennetts and the rest, they don't take a decision on how much they pay out, the insurance company does.

I accept that you only find out how good your policy is until you need it.

    Dean,

    I've sent you a PM.

For interest of others (FWIIW) - I didn't get a renewal notice via e-mail. Apparently a glitch, but Dean did contact me and apologise and try and sort it out. But by then I had made the usual enquiries and found BMW insurance to be the most competitive for me this year. The introductory discount offered to get new customers seem to make it that you need to change company each year.

So now just trying to sort out proof of NCB - it is a palaver but the savings are not insignificant.

    Hi Dean

My insurance is due in May. I’ve always been with either Bennetts or Carol Nash. I’ll certainly give you a shout in a few weeks to see what Bemoto can do.

    Cheers
