Does anyone have any experience of fitting the after market shorter spring option which claims to lower a 2007 GSA by 30mm and can the centre stand still be used.
Thanks in advance.

Not got experience with that specifically, but when you lower the height, I'm sure you'll pop one trying to get the bike up on the centre stand.
BMW did a lowered bike from factory, perhaps you can source the stands from one of them?

Ive done it :)

I fitted the Wiburs 30mm lowered shocks front and rear -

There is a thread on here if you search ;)

however to help you very quickly :)

You dont have to lower the centre stand, but you will give yourself a hernia if you dont .

The geometry / angles change, so the fulcrum / pivot points of the stand relationship change in relation to the wheel

net result, you need to virtually pull the bike onto the original centre stand ....

The side stand needs 30mm removing between the foot and the lower bend, and the foot realigning If not the bike sits virtually upright when on the sidestand, a small push, and its over.

The OEM lowered parts arnt that expensive if i recall

£80 for the lowered side stand, the centre i got with my shocks so cant tell you that cost
