Hi
In the process rebuilding a suzuki gn400 making it into a bobber type bike.

Stripped off the air box fitted a cone type filter.

Bike fires up first kick ildes over fine, trying to rev the bike seems to bog down.

Original carb fitted.

Would it req upgrading the jet ?

Any info would be appreciated

I’ve just looked at a few pics of a GN and I am presuming the carb is a cv carb, if so put the air box back on and see how it runs.

By removing the airbox you have altered the air flow going in. These carbs need that airflow disruption, return back to standard, get it running first then start stripping it back.
