John who’s selling that Sport is a top bloke, I bought the S3 that came out of the same collection. Although all original it will need all the chrome doing, and the frame painting, but you would leave the tank and boxes (nice patina)
Will be interesting to see what it fetches, the owner only wanted £8.5 without John waving his magic on it, wish I’d have known at the time.
Never mind the S3 is coming up nice👍
 
I’ll be interested to see what this goes for as it’s the same year as mine although mine is in better cosmetic condition and yes I paid a lot more for it. :)

There was a large pile of V7 sports parts making up a full bike at auction a few years ago, the guide was £1500..... it went for over £4500.

It was almost the first item for sale, I reckon the auctioneers set a low guide price, in order to set the tone for the rest of the auction.

I was willing to go to £2500

it would have been a nice project, guaranteed an expensive one but nice all the same
