Riding with helmet flipped up

Touring and day rides. I was just curious. I’ll probably not ride with lid flipped up unless it was exceptionally hot or in a slow moving queue, like going through passport control at Plymouth ferry terminal..

So, in short, you’ll do it (or not) as and when you (not anyone else) decides. Excellent. Self determination, the mark of a true Adventure biker.

Caberg Duke's are legal to use flipped up. As were their predecessors. It has a sliding switch which locks the front in the up position. Round town generally up, higher speeds down for me.

Occasionally in town, but be aware that only the new Shoei Neotec 2 (apart from the Shark) is homologated to be used open. Although you would have to meet a very grumpy officer to get nicked :)

Like I posted earlier, only the Neotec 2 is approved to be used with the flip up, so the C3 and C3 Pro are not

???

Motocard lists quite a few dual-homologated (P/J) helmets...

My AGV Compact is dual-homologated.
