What model phone is it and have you tried forcing it into to DFU mode pm me if it’s a long reply lol
iPhone SE and found how to do DFU on the net now
It worth trying to do it a few times if you can get I tunes running whilst it’s in dfu mode it should download the latest firmware and install it, sometimes it will come out of dfu mode prematurely just unplug it from the phone force it to shut down and then re power on holding the home button..
Trying the stage before DFU and doing a hard reset
