Well took off the hall sensor to check the wiring as I'd been having some issues with bike having a hiccup then catching now and again , upon taking it off it would appear to be an aftermarket sensor and some one has been in there faffing with the wires as it had heatshrink over joins I think it was a matter of time before it stopped dead judging by the state of the wires ,also one wire was barely attached and just came off with a light pull..I had a spare original hall sensor from the bits n bobs I got before xmas so had a look @ its wires and they are fine so retaped it with silicone self seal heatproof tape ,fitted it to the gs jus to make sure it works ..ticketty boo ,but decided to phone motoworks for a new one and keep the original one as spare ,and the one of the gs will take it into my work and get one of the radar guys to rewire it..
