I filled the touratec tank and the standard tank and reset the trip meter, both of them. So far I have done 248 miles and there is still 5" of fuel in both wings of the top up tank! Working on the 140 miles I reckon the standard tank gives, safely, and another 100 in the Touratech tank I estimate she has 450 miles fairly easily between fill ups. I am chuffed with it, especially as it had so much bad press when it was for sale. Ugly, but practical.
I now need to make myself another camping cooker fuel line, I was daft and left it in the pannier of my 1150 Adv when I sold it.... no biggy. A Tap, quick release female connector and 12" of fuel pipe.
