The optimate end is called an SAE but I don’t know what the female jack socket end is called. I know you can buy a genuine cable for £14.00, but if it’s just a standard connection I might be able to find an aftermarket equivalent.

Not worth the waste of time searching for something generic when the jack plug end could have one of 3 internal sizes and one will work both ways but the other won’t.....

They are called, DC connectors.
Old style Optimate, is a TM connector
New style Optimate is an SAE connector
Gerbing, Keis etc use a DC connector

Some will work with the others but not the other way.

Two possible outcomes....
It seems:
Keis have 2.1 mm
Gerbing have 2.5 mm
Assuming that is they don’t change them.
That's the same part I linked to on the Gerbing site.
I have Keis & Gerbing gear. I mix & match and they work fine. I'm using a Gerbing Y piece on the output from my Keis controller to split the current between my Keis jacket and Keis insoles.
I use Gerbing heated gloves on my XR as I do not have muffs on that bike. These are powered from a Keis lead connected to the battery.

And there we have it... Wessie confirms they are interchangeable, so something did change.
Blazewear also compatible with Gerbing.
