Auxiliary lights

Hi Guys,

I fitted a set of Chinese Auxiliary lamps to my wife's f650gs twin, they have worked fine for about 6 months but had to turn them off when the ignition was turned off so i fitted a HEZ ezCAN so they would go off when the ignition was turned off and again all was working fine for a couple of months.

We went out on Saturday and now one light is dimmer than the other but still on.

Anyone any idea what has gone wrong?

Try swapping them over to prove whether it's the light or something wrong with the wiring or the Hexezecan. Have you got both lights working off the same port on the Hex?

Does each light have multiple LEDs? If so see if all of them are lit on the dim one.

Yes they are both running off the one hexezcan port . I will try swapping them over on the weekend

I bought some cheap ebay ones several years ago, and they had three (or four?) positions such as low, high, flashing, and off. You need to separately get them at the same part of the cycle. There are also many utubes showing "how to" solder/unsolder in order to get them simply on or off.
