I have last years holidays to use up so have taken off from 21st March to April 1st and am looking at a week away on the bike.

Perhaps last minute to Scotland if it looks reasonable or a jaunt through scenic France to Sete and back ? Anyone else looking at going away that period.

I’m planning on a little trip to the Auvergne France leaving Sat March 21st for about six days. I went the same time last year and it was brilliant with good weather and empty roads. :thumb2

I have. According to Google maps MC is 130 miles further south.

It’s about the freedom of the open road man. :hippy

Anyway it’s all part of the same region. :)

Good morning,I would be interested in a jaunt down to Sete if you don't mind someone else tagging along, what accommodation would you be using ?

Pete
I usually look at c3 star hotels a bit out of town for bike security. Or inner city hotels with secure basement parking.

great, I would be up for that, would you be visiting the Millau bridge on the way back ? Millau is a nice little town and the ibis hotel has secure parking and a great outdoor food market on Mondays

Pete. It's a must do, to cross Millau and then go underneath for photos that put the scale into perspective.

you'll love it I've been twice but would love to go again and then ride the Tarn Gorge

Sorry guys. Plan has changed for me. I decided to return to Scotland for the March dates. The cottage that I just stayed in near Muir of Ord just seemed ideal so I booked it for 21st to 28th March. I have driven all the roads up here and ridden them on my R1200RS and cant wait to do it again on my R1250GSA.

I have a mate tagging along too on his R1250GS.

Regards

Allan
