Thanks Tadhg and Yer Man + supporting team for a great evening in Hodson Bay.
I can never really understand how gripping this rally is, the "value to cost" ratio is off the scale!

Best of luck to all for 2020!

Can a mod make this thread a sticky?

I didn't get out on the bike today but I did spend the afternoon putting this years points on my sat nav. Or rather I spent 5 minutes putting on this years points and several hours trying to figure out how to get last years off!
I finally figured out with the help of Mr Google. :blast :type

do ya not delete them as ya get to them?

dubbers :p

No, if I get time I'll do some of them twice. Maybe for better weather to get a better shot or maybe they might be on the way home from another point.

edit cos dubh

i dont have the luxury of living on the island :p :D

i want to do that sometimes but theyre usually the far away ones - wanted to do the stone map from last year and never got round to it and wont be doing donegal this year either :D

Been looking at this for a few years now with interest....but of course never did anything about it..... I feel it in my bones this year it will get done....at least some of it.

I'm on! Two trips of 5 days each, first one 5th of May. Route planned, permission granted. Can't wait, just need to book ferry from Cairnryan and some sleazy B&B's

Cauld and windy day out

Wednesday was to be a BMW Club ride out but nobody turns up, so I thought that I'd make a start.
Burr Point was no better named, thought I saw a brass monkey looking for a welder.

Mediterrean sea

Snow fringes the hill tops
Black specks in green fields
Beaks busy harvesting
Before a night roost,
Dirty fleeces basking in welcome sun
as we climb up from Cushendun
away from a still tyrrhenian blue sea
On to Ballycastle for lunch

Good to see the bike on the road again!
Lovely verse, and now I know what tyrrhenian refers to!

The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games
And daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path

oh wait :D

two wheels maybe

an bhfuil sé mí Aibreáin go fóill?
