It annoys me when people ask What's my bike worth? because eBay and free ads will give you a clear idea in minutes.

HOWEVER, this is one of those bikes you really have to ask about.

I am clearing someone's estate.
I buy and sell bikes for a hobby/living but this one I can't get a price on, and I asked BMW dealers and parts specialists in UK who don't know either.

2012 K1300S HP
number 56 of 750 made
Excellent cond 24k miles. With the panniers and all the factory extras associated with the HP.

It's in Bristol, UK. I reckon it's worth £7500 but it's my duty to get the best price possible for the estate so any info on similar bikes sold recently would be handy.

Any feedback appreciated.

I'm not sure but I'm looking forward to the pictures.

I guess there's a slight premium over the standard model. The HP ones of these have fancy bits on and a nice pipe as opposed to any engine mods don't they?

Has it had the big 18000 mile service? I had a K1300R its a stonking engine. Hope it works out and I'll try not to look at any ad that goes on here............;)

When I was selling my three year old 1300s with 7,500 miles I struggled to get £7,500 for it. This was around five years ago. Fantastic bikes but I would have been sent to prison had I kept it. 170 mph very easily and solid as a rock.

Interesting first post.
Picture would be a help.
Super bike, "140 on the A3 in fourth" allegedly.
Sadly time moves on, whats it worth v. what can you actually get?
my bet is on 5k but I hope for the Estate its a bit more.
Never actually seen one of these Ltd in the flesh.

I traded my 2012 K13sport two years ago for £6.5k and had to haggle hard for that. Had no luck selling privately. It's a great bike but they don't fly off the shelf from dealers and move slowly privately and that keeps the price down so great to buy and tough to sell. An asking price of £7.5k might be optimistic but no point starting low. If a quick sale is wanted then £5k might be more realistic. Good luck and let us know how you get on.
