I got my riding gear repaired by a chap near Rugeley - £25 for two pairs of goretex trousers. Both have been repaired without puncturing the goretex liner and I tried the grey ones the other day, these are the ones I was wearing when I went down the motorway.... they are bone dry, even to wade in. I waded out and got a picture looking the other way.

So thats this years wash of the bike done then Simon ?

Absolutely. :aidan

I tried to get it clean the other day, but got bored after about an hour. ACF50 sprayed in and around. Too many nooks and crannies. I'll have another go when I put the Scottoiler back on. Got to take the tank off for that, so emptying it first, done 310 miles and still got fuel in it. I reckon she could do 500 miles at sensible speeds and 450 miles at 80ish. :beerjug:
