Asking for a mate who is struggling with a Honda Crossrunner which discharges its battery in 48 hours. The bike has had new batteries and been looked at by two indys plus a Honda dealer.

Surely to a trained techy it can’t be that difficult.

He is on the IoW so someone in Pompey, Southampton, Lymington or nearby would be perfect.

It will either be an added accessory or as it is a Honda, the voltage regulator

Faulty diode allowing discharge through regulator or the usual crap at connections from windings. Replace regulator/rectified. Can be replaced with 04 onwards Yamaha R1 most one.

Although he could be unlucky and have had two faulty batteries.

Piece of piss to a trained technician.
Just keep splitting connections till you see where the ziggies are going.

Still trying to find a reputable m/c sparky on the South Coast, anyone ?
