XR top box lock removal

so how do you do it,usual searches turned up nowt specific,unless i missed something?

.....Sorry I can’t shed any light on your question as I didn’t get any use from mine. Be careful though as the sodding top box lock for the XR is poor. I used mine once and immediately had issues. BMW were not interested, but in fairness to them it had been sitting in my cupboard for over a year. Apparently it will cost £175 to replace the faulty parts. Sod that.

It now resides under a desk at Guildford BMW.....
