Fantic Caballero Scrambler 500 Limited Edition

Just put an offer in on a 2020 model in blue with 1000 miles on the clock.
He’s come back with a counter off but im not budging.
I give it a week :) (that’s him coming back to me, not the length of ownership)
I should think that would be a great bike for the Guernsey roads. GLWP

Mate of mine had one,
it spent most of its time at the dealer,I’m not sure they ever got to the bottom of the poor running issues it had.
lack of dealer support /manufacturers back up would put me off.
why has it only done a 1000 miles in 3 years?
you’d clock that up in a week or so with a new toy.

Owner has 3 other bikes and it’s on a small island.
Two mates have them. Zero issues.

This was mine, certain aspects of it were great - the looks, handling, sound, lightweight etc.
The quirky switchgear was a pain, and the Speedo unit was dire, small and difficult to read, badly laid out, cheap and nasty to be honest.
But, I never had a problem with it, and out of 200 plus bikes over nearly fifty years, it’s probably one of the best looking I’ve owned. I’d have another without hesitation. For people of a certain age the name Fantic Caballero is magical!
