Back in the fold.

Sold my 1190 ADV a couple of years back as it had ‘done a bit of leg’ as they say in the trade.
Tried a new Scrambler 1200XE, T7 Yamaha, plus a used Tracer 900, and GS1200, but couldn’t settle with any of them, so Just bought a 2018 1290 S. Welcome back old friend. Moved on a bit with the TFT screen keyless ignition etc, but still the same thrill. Feeling like the prodigal son.

I miss my 1190, the 1290 is better in many ways, but the 1190 had more "character", considering another 1190 or even an SMT for local rides, but for the Euro trips then 1290 is amazing.
