Garmin express installed and running but wont display

GE told me an update was available, so i duly clicked ok


Now when i run GE it starts , consumes a portion of memory and does sod all

Nothing on screen, no program to end or run ...

Tried compatibility mode, uninstalling drivers etc

tried the help guide on garmins own pages and still nothing

I'm running win 10 bootcamped on a mac

Would it not be simpler and possibly more successful just to download the Mac version....?

Managed to fix it in the end.

Uninstalled, used services.msc to remove the old configuration files

Got it to display, but still not seeing the Nav VI

USB leads were data & power

Turned out it was to do with the USB ports themselves

They were set to power down / reduce if not in use, trouble is they dont always give enough power when woken up

change the setting to power all the time and it found the Nav within seconds

Where do you find that? It might be worth checking this on my Mac
